He was up super early and hunting around for playmates, which he found with Soaks.
It wasn't long and Zero the Huskie arrived and Mitch and the pups all trooped off to Erskine Park for a play and a photo shoot.
There were tons of dogs at the meet including a crazy leaping Kelpie and a nice Dal.
When the puppies got back home they had a brief nap before charging back into playing (Mitch shacked up with "his girls" under the table).
This afternoon Mitch and Soaks spent some time chasing balls and competing to see who could get to it first in the backyard.
Mitch also got his first taste of raw Turkey Neck today. He wasn't really sure how to eat it but had a good go and managed to eat a quarter before he got frustrated and gave up.
At night Nik and the girls (Shell and Sally) practised some Heel Work with Mitch and did some 'seeking' games. Mitch is especially good at finding Terrance, however, Soaks loves stealing it off him and getting him to chase her around the house.
After a big day Mitch finally fell asleep and is having a good sleep for the first time since he got here.

Oh Nik! I hope Mitch wasn't too much a problem for you sleep during the night. Sounds like he wasn't sure what was going on? I'm glad he's having such a fun time! Looks like he's over his "kangaroo" obsession...sitting nicely for the treat in that photo! I am just so happy he is with such caring people!!! Looks/sounds like he has become the ladies' man.
ReplyDeleteHe wasn't to bad. Just too excited by all the puppies around I think.
ReplyDeleteHe slept pretty well last night. We just need to wear him out more.
